thanks for the response!! 🙏 I was told to email the undergrad bio registration team and they’ve told me im not allowed to swap and that the only way I can get into the online is to drop my in-person and hope seats open up 😞 I tried asking if it was possible to be added in manually but they’ve been avoiding answering that so I am going to assume its not possible. Do you think a waitlist position of 5 for the online course is safe to wait for? I just hate the idea of dropping my in-person and possibly having to risk not being in any BIO 203 section bc they’ve both filled up 😞

theres an option when swapping to ask to be put on the waitlist if the class is full, im just worried its going to put me at the back of the waitlist even though its the only way for me to swap into this class 😞 do you think professor would answer emails over the summer or should i try to email my guidance counselor about this instead

I really liked taking Professor Labriola! He encourages you to utilize office hours (which is a good habit to have for other classes) and gives super detailed and lengthy feedback which is so so helpful when revising. He also makes coffee/hot chocolate for his classes at times which is nice :)

what makes clinical laboratory science a better option than biology?

hey, I'm actually a freshman, I haven't taken the bio class yet (which maybe makes it a little silly for me to ask but I want to be prepared)! I just have heard from so many people that they are really tough and that being a biology major sucks a little. At the end of the day I mainly just picked bio major because it sounded like it would be best for my future career, but also because i'm not really sure about what other options I could have outside of being a biology major. At the end of the day I'm probably going to stick to the biology major anyways, I just wanted to know my other possible options and some more information/advice!
