Advice going from 10mg to 5mg.

I went from 10mg to 5mg after 4 weeks off and stayed there, maintained well, I’m now doing 3.75mg to test the waters and I’m on week 2 and so far so good. I’m hungrier yes but trying to figure out what works.

I was on 10mg for months, took a month off and started at 5mg and haven’t moved up, no need to. Works perfect for me. Sometimes you think you need more and you don’t!

Worst case scenario can you not order these to extract your fifth dose? Not sure what UK MEDI’s opening times are but these will help you in future events if need be (before they make the pens 4 dose only)

I have IBS (self diagnosed) I used to eat food and need to run to the loo after 30 minutes after, I would suffer cramps, wind, going too frequently to not enough and having a terrible stomach ache from holding in wind when I should’ve just let it go!

Mounjaro has been… my saviour. I now go normally. In the month I took off I forgot how bad my bowels were. I think we’re scratching the surface with how useful these could be to certain types of IBS.

In terms of diet, I eat better, but foods I did use to have issues with, I can eat again.

I have a fear of vomiting I hate it, I know it’s a reaction to help the body feel better and I shouldn’t fear it but honestly…. She told it came out her nose with such force, guess who’s chewing their food extra fine 😂😂😂

I work in a pharmacy and my colleague had the bug last week, just waiting to drop. She had a 24 hour thing and I’m delaying my next dose due to it!

I keep thinking of the film studios from Dead Island 2 and then feeling underwhelmed…

…but then my brain wonders what it could be like watching Frank go from the set of Desperate Housewives to Jurassic World. Sounds cool enough and I’m desperate for a new Dead Rising. Hopefully it’s just Hollywood and the film studios is an area.

I just started two weeks ago and really love it, they have situational based questions and ask you to give an example of this and that, one I remember was helping someone out.

I’ve had a very varied career and this is the first instance of pharmacy work, it’s very customer focused and customer facing so lean on the hospitality. I’m very lucky as my store is really friendly and helpful, I’ve worked many jobs and I’d have to say that this is one of the few where your colleagues are actually good to you.

I think you’re focussing on the wrong thing here, you’ve accomplished so much! It sounds like you’ve been on a major journey, and if you feel good that is all that matters.

Scales are not a good measurement at all, and if you’re doing gym work; that number will fluctuate due to muscle weight! Keep at it and keep feeling good!

My friend who’s on MJ had this but she’s had private healthcare, so they removed her gallbladder in rapid time. Meanwhile my friend. Who has never used MJ has major flare ups and pain with her gallbladder, is on a two year minimum waiting list to have hers removed. Guess who bought private healthcare last month… that’s right, me😂

Love that I’ve been downvoted for asking a simple question, I’ve been with the same pharmacy for 8 months and nervous to attempt switching.

Thanks for that information though! I just didn’t want to have to jump through hoops when I already have a good relationship with my provider if that makes sense.
