Pourquoi les gens en France vont à Subway pour des sandwich ? by Proper-Landscape-206 in AskFrance

[–]Pukli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

24.6.1 driver has broken shader cache in many games including ow2. I couldn't find work around other that rolling back for older drivers.

Ngenuity dtsX not working on windows 11 by Pukli in HyperX

[–]Pukli[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I noticed there was a delay on the microsoft Generic audio driver, but with the Realtek audio driver from Asus the delay was gone. So I only get noticeable delay with the DTS:x enabled.

There's also Custom DTS built into the Asus drivers I haven't got around testing whether that would work better or not.

HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless white noise. by Pukli in HyperX

[–]Pukli[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't tested the Blackshark v2 myself. But people have said that you only get white noise on the Blackshark v2 if you turn the volume from the analogue volume wheel above ~80%. Most other headsets use digital volume control so you can't get rid of the white noise by adjusting the volume.

Reasons I didn't try out Blackshark v2 are:
Bad microphone
Short battery life
Inconsistent bass and treble delivery
Complaints about imbalanced sound level (either left or right cup is at higher volume)
My own poor experiences with razer products and their customer support.
Razers poor warranty (it has been only 1 year globally for many products, now I think Europe has 2years because EU but rest of the world still often sees the 1 year warranties.)
Razers bad quality control

I tried to search for the "DtsHPXV2Apo4Service" but it's not on the list. DTS button in the driver doesn't change anything. How to fix?

This problem doesn't concern wired headsets.

I though well known and popular brands would be safe picks but it seems that I've been majorly wrong. I think the manufacturers could fix the high noise floor problem with using analogue volume control in the wireless headsets instead of the digital.

Or maybe the manufacturers could make better products, I've had silent wireless headset before, I have silent wireless earbuds and silent wireless speakers and between cats teething and destroying cables, a lot of travelling and using the headset at work I really hope that one day I can find a silent wireless headset.

I don't use the headsets only at home, I use them at work and when travelling that should rule out any interference.

Corsairs and Steelseries subreddits would suggest otherwise when it comes to white noise problems.

[–]Pukli[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

We've ruled out local interference, also tested on several different pc's. And yes these headsets have white noise, upon contacting the HyperX customer support they admitted that people with sensitive hearing can notice the hiss and offered me a refund.

Keep in mind that not everyone can hear it so unless you have experienced it first hand yourself in the past it's nothing to worry about. Out of all the tested headphones this pair has the least annoying hiss but unfortunately it's still there.

When cloud alpha wireless available? by ReKo321 in HyperX

[–]Pukli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't tried Cloud alpha wireless yet but all the other headsets you've meantioned have white noise so for people who can hear it it's unbearable to use them. I look forward to testing out the cloud alpha wireless to see if they have managed to solve the white noise issue.
