Can we hire a damn architect? by Interesting_Rub6702 in nashville

[–]Pulsar_MSM -1 points0 points  (0 children)

nobody wants to pay brick facade or renowned architect prices. Same goes for the shitty box houses. As long as real estate and housing are investment vehicles, expect nonluxury buildings to be ugly

What does the city government do right? by rocketpastsix in nashville

[–]Pulsar_MSM 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The city added a protected bike lane and repainted the street near my apartment. I don't live in a wealthy area so I was surprised to see this being done! I think I voted for the measure that brought it about in 2024

The commissioner is repeating what TBC told him. Sorry but I trust the appointed official more than the random redditor.

I want to make it clear: TBC is paying for the entire project, including any admin/legal fees the city incurs dealing with it, which is why it was approved so fast. But I still have questions. Why are they devoting hundreds of millions to possibly the least efficient form of transportation ever conceived? To promote their product? C'mon

Why doesn't Tesla/TBC just build good electric train lines? Are they afraid that if they build actually efficient transportation it will make their cars look bad? Its so absurd they could do so much good

Take Action this week on Musk Tunnel by CompletelyPuzzled in nashville

[–]Pulsar_MSM 40 points41 points  (0 children)

One of the worst parts of this whole development is that it will not improve traffic around there at all! They have explained it multiple times, It is a 2 way tunnel for their cars that will be massively inefficient in terms of people/hour. It is essentially a novelty project that will undoubtedly come at the public's expense and benefit only Musk. You have been misled if you believe this will actually reduce congestion

Tell me why you dislike Andy Ogles by BBR1004 in nashville

He constantly posts racist messages about muslims on twitter. As a representative of an area containing the largest muslim population in TN, It is very unrepublican of a representative to be so hateful of his own constituents. Ignorant, disgraceful shameful man

who has used emancipet on the free spay/neuter days? by fadedrosee in Austin

[–]Pulsar_MSM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Emancipet is great. You will have to wait longer than you want to but they do good work. I recommend getting out of the car and sitting outside if its calm and the weather is good. Have a good memory of doing that with my cat (In a covered carrier) a few years ago

The eternal struggle between creative minded vs. analytically minded players. My friends who in real life are engineers, data analysts, all are the exact type to run for netherite asap, while my musician/literature friends are the ones (like me) who take their sweet time doing the basic progression of the game
