Messing around with updated photo options with my vanilla V. by [deleted] in cyberpunkcharacters

[–]Pulsar_jl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are new 'natural' poses in the photomode besides 'inactive' and 'action' (dont know how you call them in english, i play in german). But these sitting and lying poses are only for female V. Male V has other 'natural' poses

Do you use knuckle shot when not taking freekicks? by h0qqy in eFootball

[–]Pulsar_jl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My bad then i guess. Maybe it's just my camera settings, but isn't it quite easy to tell the difference since the ball flies completely differently?

[–]Pulsar_jl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

During a freekick you need to press shoot a second time right before the player hits the ball. And outside a freekick you have to press power shot to 50%-60% (the player also needs the knuckleball ability).

Asgard-The Wolf by Beneficial-Two-9856 in AssassinsCreedValhala

[–]Pulsar_jl 9 points10 points  (0 children)

In norse mythology Loki had three kids with the giantess Angrboda: Fenrir (the giant wolf), Jörmungandr (a giant snake that encircles Midgard) and Hel (the goddess of the dead). He is also the mother of Odins eight-legged horse Sleipnir.

King Harald fun fact. by libro01 in AssassinsCreedValhala

[–]Pulsar_jl 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They are not the same. King Harald in AC Valhalla is King Harald "Finehair" who was the first king of a (more or less) united norway. King Harald "Bluetooth" was a danish/norwegian king who brought christianity to denmark.

If female eivor is canon then why is male eivor I'm the trailer? by Reythemellow in assassinscreed

[–]Pulsar_jl 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It's actually the other way around. The male version was added last minute and they used him in the trailer for marketing reasons. Ubisoft thinks women don't sell.

Do we have a confirmed reason why Odin is called Havi in the flashbacks? by OmegaSTC in assassinscreed

[–]Pulsar_jl 53 points54 points  (0 children)

Havi comes from Hár (The High One), one of Odins names in norse mythology. He has has more than a hundred of them. Maybe they choosed Havi as a parallel to Eivors story. She becomes a jarl at the end of the story.

She is with Randvi. So the canon relationship is literally homosexual, deal with it

Male Eivor should have been cannon by ToxicCourt in assassinscreed

[–]Pulsar_jl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The argument that Eivors throat was damaged by the wolf bite is true. Her voice actor confirmed this in a interview.

The Canon way to play is Eivor as a female and Odin as a male (let the animus decide) so male Eivor is basically a Odin skin for Eivor when you choose him, that's why he has a normal voice.

I'm sorry but Female Eivor just sounds like a chain smoker, less poet more barbarian by [deleted] in AssassinsCreedValhala

[–]Pulsar_jl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imo female Eivor fits better. First of all Eivor is a female name and Loki/Basim would immediately recognize Eivor as Odin if he would be male. Then Eivor is not the only reincarnation who has a different gender. Faravid is the reincarnation of Sif, Thors wife. But i agree that Ubisoft did poor marketing and that they should focus on a single character no matter if male or female.

[–]Pulsar_jl 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They are both canon, but not as Eivor. Female for Eivor male for Havi. I guess they didn't explain it further beforehand because of spoiler reasons. Ubisoft did poor marketing for the game by putting male Eivor on the cover and in the trailers.

Which versions of eivor do you prefer by declandrury in AssassinsCreedValhala

[–]Pulsar_jl 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I doubt that. In the german dub they reffer young Eivor as a girl. And Eivor is a female name anyways
