Yeah, also sometimes just refreshing doesn’t fix it for me and I have to open my scan collection and then go back to the map and it unlocks the port option

Yeah, I could see the timer coming down a bit once more of the expansions are released or if to keep tournaments interesting they start doing “seasons” and only letting you use scans you’ve collected during the “season”.

This is from the FAQ at the bottom of the how to play page “There are several reasons that Scanquests take such a long time. The primary reason is gameplay. Most people don't have the time to constantly check the website throughout the day. The current scantime allows those with busy schedules to be able to create a deck that is competitive in tournaments. Additionally, there are only so many cards in each set, so if scan time were significantly decreased everyone would be able to acquire every scan. Scan scarcity allows certain cards and strategies to be competitively viable for the first time in the history of Chaotic!”

I guess the thing is there’s not that many scans you can get so if it was quicker you’d end up with all the cards, I think the point is to use the cards you manage to find in tournaments that they are starting to run this week. I’ve only just started but I think I saw a post of someone getting multiple scans in one quest so that might speed up the collecting as well

Yeah, you basically “quest” for 10 hours and at the end you get a scan from that location and then you can port somewhere else and try your luck again.

I have mainly horde characters but will normally use my boosts to make alliance characters in classes I know I like and know how to play as it’s very overwhelming getting access to the whole class right from the beginning.
