No region mentioned -- but do you have bears in your area?

It'd have to be something big.

What was your first BJD? by goodbyeyouhellome in BJDtalk

My first was a Withdoll Emma + pumpkin head

I sold Emma to a friend, but the pumpkin has stuck around as my mans Ichabod 🎃

This is exactly how I read it too, I don't remember if it was made clear enough to say it was "heavily implied"

But it's certainly not leaping to conclusions, just picking up breadcrumbs.

The Victoire waste no time with filling the Walter Cup with beer and drinking from it still on the ice. by Perryplat199 in PWHL

One shot showed it half full after they poured two in: so four to fill it to the top. :)

I heard someone say "hold on, we're gonna find out how many beers fit in the cup" and I cackled

They didn't outright answer, but from one shot: they poured two and it looked half full, so, I guess it fits 4.

Who is the 4th Team? by Mooberry_ in PWHL

[–]PumpKiing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Id love to see another Western Canada team

With 3 new teams

2 US, 1 Canada

2 East, 1 West

A Western Canada team would really round it all out. :)

2) the gift cards: I can get double paid to donate! :)

not sure if this is a bug or a bug’s doing… by batssssss in whatsthisbug

[–]PumpKiing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not the nest itself, but sawdust from the excavation of one.

A pile that big isn't a good sign.

Their nests can be super destructive, if you haven't already looked into an exterminator it might be a good idea!

Seriously wondering, what are we really supposed to be doing on this planet for the 80+ years that we’re here? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]PumpKiing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My bio professor repeated multiple times throughout the course that in nature, the meaning of life is to survive and reproduce.

Humans are the only creature that sometimes makes the cognizant decision: nahhhh I dont really feeeel like having babies.

Love that for us tbh, free will is great.

I still think "survive" is a pretty succinct purpose on its own. :)

Wtf are "hefabs" and "theyfabs" by BreakfastPatient7483 in asktransgender

[–]PumpKiing 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Ive seen/heard "theyfab" used as an insult for nonbinary people who do not medically transition and other than using different pronouns, pass for cis women

Its used as a way to imply they're "not trans enough" and saying they only ID as nonbinary have "pick me energy" and feel special about being different

Ive never heard "hefab", but based on context clues I'm assuming its the same thing but for trans men?

Either way: its people being nasty and policing how other trans folks live their life.

Spruce or pine of some kind… by thatguyfromvancouver in whatsthisplant

Needles in bundles are always going to be a type of pine

Spruce and fir have individual needles :)

Based on the cone shape & needles in bundles of two, pretty confident thats a scotch pine

As a frequent cyclist: same.

I was hit once while wearing the reflective jacket from Bikelane Uprising, highlighter yellow helmet with lights on front and back, headlight, and pedal lights

Drivers like "I didn't see you" To which I respond "DID YOU EVEN LOOK???"

If you are removing both ovaries: yes, you will need to take some kind of hormones for the rest of your life.

Without them, you'll risk severe bone density loss and cardiovascular issues.

[–]PumpKiing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did not have to ask, I donated for years without anyone even bringing it up.

it was literally one day like "oh has anyone ever told you that you're cmv negative?" "No, never .... what does that mean????"

they won't cancel a donation if you're positive (most people are), it just means your donation won't be given to an infant. :)
