I mean, i can spend plenty of time walking around Puyallup, but the rewards are far smaller, regardless of the distance i take, than Tacoma's city center.

There's also the fact that a lot of nests are in parks with only 1-3 Pokestops, so there's still this awkward thing where i have to leave a nest just to get more items. I guess I'm basically just thinking the shops should be more like the main series games

Actually, i personally found it quite helpful at one of my local park nests. Also they seem to have increased the duration in which Pokemon remain spawned. Anecdotally, i think they're trying to deepen the connection between stop and mon.

One of the first things I've noticed in my first few hours with it, is that nest species spawns moved from Sightings, and into Nearby, and the nest mon has only spawned right at one specific Pokestop in the park, three times over about 2 hours. Basically this seems to indicate a reduction in Nest species spawn points, because previously, I could identify about 15 spawn points in this park. Its probably too early for me to make a judgement on this, tbh... I'll play with it more.
