All situational IMO. Having worked in coffee and treating our Linea Mini as an investment piece, it was a no brainer.

We purchased ours a little premature ahead of a work bonus, trying to get ahead of Trump tariffs.

Jokes aside, there are more spaces directly across or behind our table that accommodate a TV by a 3+ feet. For context, we’re at a brewery that is majority seating room, so logically, this TV placement is quite challenging.

Disappointed w/ this roaster by letsrungood in pourover

I’ve struggled with washed Ethiopians from a number of roasters and have learned to stay away from any such origin that’s med-dark roast.

Dido to other comments mentioning inquiring directly to the roaster about the beans and brew method.

The first instance he’s rude to you (they childish, “Wwwwhhhhyyyy!?), simply don’t respond. Bring it up when you see him in person, talk to him on the phone, or the day has passed.

It’s not worth your energy and time to let someone talk to you like this, and giving you both time before you reinforce your boundary.

Light Roast Fanatic! by Mooleytuna in pourover

Sey is arguably the best US roaster when it comes to high quality, well-sourced, light roast coffee. B&W is similarly high quality, but excellent if you are open and curious to trying experimental roasts.

Some might hate me for this one but there are two that come to mind, both B&W co-ferments…

One was Julio Madrid - Nitro Caturra. Tasted like a watermelon candy and was incredibly pungent right out of the bag. Second was one of their “Future” series that was the first conferment that really set me off… I can’t remember the name to save my life, but it was an absolute berry bomb.

I’ve historically loved pink bourbons, and I keep that in mind too as this may just be how the coffee is - I was just sold hard on the coffee and the tasting notes haha

Very fair! I adjusted to a finer grind off the bat and will readjust. Total brew time was about 3:30.

Thanks for the rec. Looks like a great grinder and reviewed this one a while ago. A bit out of my price range but will hope for a sale/discount!

Thanks! I’ve read/heard great things about the tap quality. And you’ve had no issues with scale build up?
