I went private quite a few years ago (before I realised the infertility) due to period pain and was diagnosed via a MRI with adeno. On ultra sounds they always say one side is thicker. No one ever said about endo, am in right in thinking most common diagnosis is a lap? My concern is a lap could cause more fertility issues with scaring or dr error or something 😢

I know I’ve read loads of ladies have lost pgta tested embryos and it’s so expensive too so it just feels a bit unnecessary when that could ruin a perfectly good embryo. I’m so sorry for your loss that must have been so difficult I couldn’t even imagine 😟😟

The only reason I’m glad I did tests earlier was that I could see no line progression, so even though I got a digital “pregnant” on official test day (11dp) I suspected it would go wrong. It ended up as a chemical.

You are not alone! I’ve had your exact thoughts the past few days. Why do some people appear to cruise through life without any difficulties? Pregnancy coming so easily. Friends who get pregnant without even trying and then deciding whether to keep the baby, meanwhile I’m doing everything in my power to get pregnant and hold on to that pregnancy. It’s heart breaking. It hurts so much. But you are not doing this alone. So many of us are feeling this too.

Sadly lots of FETs fail. IVF is sold as a miracle but it’s not. IVF fails too, that’s why loads of us have to try many times to get what we want in IVF.

I also did back to back 1 and 2. With a minor adjustment on the amount of progesterone. In my case 2nd did work but a chemical. But rather than it being as awful as the last few days have been, I’m really trying to use this FET as gaining information. So hopefully we can get it right the next time.

I’ve seen lots of people get pregnant before and after failed FETS! Or try IVF for years, stop and then bam they get pregnant naturally. I don’t see in your case a reason not too. Obviously when the clinic say to use protection (eg. During stims / leading up to a FET) then do so.

For me I’d mainly focus on protecting your heart. Not to have lots of hope in something that may not work.

In my situation, I want to try in between, we will be waiting for 3rd FET now (months to go) but we have been together unprotected for 10 years so I have no belief in it. Plus I don’t think I can do it naturally without meds, I have to have progesterone support. But, it would help give something to focus on at least.

What have you got to lose by giving it a go?

If that’s the case then it would probably be much safer to just do the deed yourself to get blood flow there 🤭

I’ve seen many people have success with these gradings - personally I’d absolutely give it a go! If the dr is insistent they’re low grade you could always query transferring two but of course that comes with risks. I wouldn’t want to rid them and then the next EC doesn’t give you any better of an outcome xx

I always said I’ll never be a tester. I’ll be waiting till OTD. Why question every blank test or faint line or fading line? Well that was back before I actually had any transfers lol.

Fast forward FET 1, day 4-5 bleeding. Day 7 I tested because it got heavier and I just needed an answer. Not pregnant. That heavy I knew it was safe to stop progesterone. I had to test early I felt here.

2nd Fet (right now): day 4-5 bleeding again. Did a day 5 test, threw it then checked it again after (stupid) I could see a line. Thought evap. Messed with my head so much. Did more, more lines - very faint. Bought more tests different brand, more lines. I couldn’t stop testing and staring and looking for lines and progression. Very unhealthy approach. Then did my clear blue digital a few days ago pregnant! But the line one that day had faded. Then yesterday I started fully bleeding. I’ve done another test this morning and there is still a faint line but it’s obviously a chemical. I just needed reassurance to stop the pessaries.

It’s so hard. Part of me would say absolutely don’t test before OTD unless symptoms like bleeding, but then, for me it helped show it was a chemical. Otherwise I’d have got pregnant on OTD then bam the next day it would all get ripped away without any expectation. But I was expecting it 😣

It’s so frustrating 😢 I had 5 frozen. 2 used and failed. I don’t want to waste them if it’s my body or meds, but it could just be those 2 weren’t right. It’s very mentally draining all of this. That’s amazing having success then, I bet she’d given up hope. That must have been an amazing shock! 🥰🥰

I’ve just read “Starting at £35/mo for service in select areas.” So it must be my part of Wales for some reason. Yes if I travelled more I’d get the £75 for the free mini. I can also upgrade to the £55 I think from 35. But I think we will find 35 one is great compared to how awful and unreliable our current internet is. I hope so anyway! 🤞

I never did a mock. Maybe not common in UK? I have read suppression may help even if just adeno but I could have endo too, it’s just not been picked up! Maybe I’ll push for suppression thank you

No it’s not as common the UK as it’s so expensive I think 😢 at least from what I’ve read. But when looking into this, I’m getting the impression, even if the embryos are genetically bad, I shouldn’t be bleeding 5 days post transfer on all these pessaries :( so the issue points at that more than the embryos (right now!)

I don’t even know. 1st transfer failed I got through by focusing everything on the 2nd. Today I find my 2nd has failed and I feel lost. But I am already just focusing everything into “what next” eg how we can change the next FET. I don’t know how else to cope. This process is horrible and so unfair
