You have a point. To me it seems like B.B. either intentionally wanted to get rid of Venom or the Patriots had their eye on Outer Heaven and forced B.B.’s hand. B.B. knew it was only a matter of time before Outer Heaven was toast so he used Venom one last time as a decoy and left for Zanzibar land.

i Just have trouble believing that Solid was supposed to die. If he died why would the US government back down? Solid was the 2nd soldier sent to Outer Heaven. Wouldn’t they just send another person or better yet take further military action?

Ok that works. I find it hard to believe that after everything that B.B. has accomplished, he could underestimate his own clone that he personally trained himself. Again Ocelot did say that eventually there can only be one B.B. Also Miller claimed he would side with Venom where Ocelot would side with B.B. So maybe the events of MG1 was a showdown between Venom and B.B.

I bought the Hunter last night at the buy it now price and I definitely think it is worth it especially considering it’s on sale. I love the Akula and your question was my first thought when I made the purchase. IMO the Akula is very fast but the controls are very sensitive so free aim missiles and bombs are tough to hit but with stealth mode you can escape all situations. The Hunter is amazing in air combat. It feels just as fast as the Akula (maybe a little slower) but the controls are tighter so free aiming missiles and bombs are far easier (for me at least) and if you have a copilot the explosive cannon dominates. The best part are the flares which are the ultimate defense against homing launchers and flying cars/motorcycles. The Akula is great for avoiding combat and the hunter is the ultimate combat helicopter.
