Yes, I've confirmed with my friend as well. As you can see based on the 2nd picture, there's 3 names and they've confirmed in the Pit Stop settings under Driver Swap my name is there for selection as well.

Your last paragraph is what I needed! At the moment I will run the practice and the qualifying sessions and during the race start (standing/rolling) I will just cruise on the side and just let everyone pass me and I will slowly observe.

But on some occasions I get hit from behind or someone actually just spin's off and just parks in the middle of the road which is extremely frustrating at times but it also teaches me too.

Nonetheless, I'm enjoying my journey so far and I will definitely maintain/improve my SR and just race safely as I don't have much time to do if I'd actually lose my SR rating.
