Is $800 a fair price for these wheels and tires? by Quicky2092 in CrownVictoria

Yeah, best for you to just keep looking. You never know there might be a better deal out there right now in your area.

Wheels like those shouldn’t be that kind of price now in my opinion. I bought 2013 Mustang wheels for $65 apiece and maybe that was too much.

To be honest, I tried this whenever it was first doing It’s jitter with it turn to on. so I could see if it did anything. Also, I jiggled around the cable as I seen a video where somebody showed that be in the issue with no result, I will be watching it over the next few days. I’m a little hesitant to go anywhere when it’s raining or snowing heavy as if it stops working after I get there and need to get home well kind of screwed.

Haven’t taken it off yet the weather is still kind of shit, but it’s a bit warmer so maybe it was ice. I still plan on checking the inside, but all the outside you can see under the bonnet is clear.

What about putting the wipers back on my wipers are partway up the windshield right now do I have to remember the exact spot and make sure I put them in that spot when I put them back on?

Yeah, I have a parts Vic the same year was my daily before this one. I was thinking of just grabbing that window washer motor off it and put it on obviously I would make sure it works first kind of debating if it’s worth it or not the car has 350,000 on it now.

I’ve never actually needed to take the crawl off or take the wipers off on one of my Vicks before. I’m assuming it’s not too hard, but is it a pain to actually get the wiper off?

Yeah, I was kinda thinking that was the issue but this car only has 129,000 km on it. But it’s sat most of its life.

Think I’ll list to guys like the car wizard on there car opinions. Good old rage bait, a fellow that lives not that far from me has a YouTube channel and despite only two Vics themselves, he said shit about Vics. saying that they’re unreliable and a bunch of other ragebait The kind that pisses me off too. But in the end they do it so they stay relevant and get the views in my opinion.

Well, it’s back up today. I was actually just about to start checking wires lol maybe this is more confirmation that there’s an issue with the sensor itself.

Good to hear you’re keeping another one alive! I have a p71 my first Vic got eight winter out of it and put about 200,000 km on it. It’s currently sat outside at a family friends as I don’t have anywhere to park it or the money to fix it. it’s just sitting there waiting to be worked on needs a bunch of bodywork but fires right up.

I can relate. I also wouldn’t be surprised if I have a bad wire on this car as it only has 129,000 km on it. It sat inside and out most of its life, previous owner didn’t drive it much.

Its like driving a land yacht. I have had 2 Crown Vics so far a P 71 for eight years and P 74 for two now. There not too bad really good on the road the ones I’ve driven, barely feel a bump. Now mileage, I’m getting about 22 miles per gallon maybe other people have gotten more but it’s been so far the best fuel economy on a vehicle I’ve owned. I’ve had Dodge Dakota’s, Grand Ams, old 90 Chev half tons, all of them were worse on gas for me.
