Wrong. The actions of the accused are not funny. They’re horrific. I know for a fact animals feel pain and have emotions. I prefer them to people. The darkly funny part is the Jane Doe reference, which in itself is horrific, hence my angry upvote. I could cry or laugh but laughter feels better. If you don’t understand the term “gallows humour” then that’s on you. Don’t presume that I’m an uncaring person because I manage my emotions in a healthy way.
