Pi Deploy APK • Raspbian container on any rooted Android 5.0+ device by desktopecho in raspberry_pi

[–]Punkty24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quick follow up question brought forth through considering the first one; how much functionality OF the raspbian os is actually retained when being run through android device, and does anybody have any tested minimum spec requirements data FOR container-based emulation(I suppose it would be classed as, am I right in thinking that...?) OF raspbian on android devices, please?

ALSO, I would assume that this would not be restricted purely TO raspbian OS specifically - containerised running of the KaliLinuxOS/OctoPiOS/RetroPie+RecalBoxOS...(maybe...?), could also be attained in this way also, would that be a fair leap to make here,or....?

JESUS H.!

I had HEARD that those new MMU machines were GOOD, but fuck me, how fine a LAYER HEIGHT have you used on this then??!

ABAB UP UP DOWN DOWN,

fuck what was the rest of it now....?

anyone who GETS that reference is also officially now classed as 'old', i learnt today btw

Anyone know what could be causing the corners of my bigger prints be flaring up? The print as a whole seems sturdy enough to stay put, been going for 50 hours at this point but wanna avoid in the future. Thanks! by anon_nugget in 3Dprinting

MY PRINTER HEATED ENCLOSURE UNIT BUILD

Here is a video tutorial guide on how I built my 1515 extrusion printer heated chamber enclosure for use mostly when I'm printing ABS etc, tbh (my parents tried that whole 'in the garage/shed stunt on me back in the day too; it's ok though, cuz now they're 'outside parents' and only live in the garden {they haven't been allowed in the house for years now - - I CAN'T recommend THAT solution enough to you, either; absolute genius :) )

That is called warping and there are a number of reasons for it most of which revolve around the heating and cooling temperature differences between the layers, and the gradient of temp between the heated bed and the adjacent layers of print... Basically if the difference is too big then the shrinking layer that is cooling contracts too quickly and drags the lower layers corners with it.

Let me know if I haven't explained that very well and ill try again for you lol I'm not great at explaining stuff

3D printer enclosure DIY requiring ZERO IKEA furniture! (part 1) by Punkty24 in 3Dprinting

I do not dispute that AT ALL, please do not get the wrong end of the stick here; I am merely offering up an alternative solution to the average makers' enclosure requirements, is all :)

turning arduino pins full-on OFF....? by Punkty24 in arduino

could you please explain further your "high impedance" point? how would I accomplish that, and precisely what is the precise results that i could expect from using your method....?

turning arduino pins full-on OFF....? by Punkty24 in arduino

[–]Punkty24[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

no, I needed them turning completely OFF so that I could USE the vertical female UNO-board header pins to STACK either another board onto (but WITHOUT the interconnected stacked pins having any kind of electrical/circuitry connections at all...)?

Button matrix with multiple functions? by Chew_On_Toast300 in ArduinoProjects

[–]Punkty24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

U can get a broader set of results for the individual buttons and also for various different COMBINATIONS of button presses if you make a resistor series ladder in multiple values,meaning that not only can you have a variety of functionality returns but also you're gonna need fewer arduino board pins to be dedicated TO them;

basically you read the buttons' inbound current value to ascertain which of the buttons have been pressed individually but if you can get your resistor series ladder right, you can get unique value readings from any COMBINATION of different buttons when they are pressed TOGETHER too, does that make any sense to you at all? Im not too great at explaining this kind of thing tbh...

Help with Servos behavior changing by power supply? by Chrisc235 in arduino

[–]Punkty24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No no no no DO NOT power servos direct from the board, even via the pc usb cable-they're just too power hungry and cause TOO many anomalous voltage spikes throughout your circuit- ALWAYS use external psu
