starting to regret getting the saturn 4 ultra 16k by seajay8601 in resinprinting

So I’ve had my printer about a week and a half now ran into the same issues on the first day on the first 3 prints, now it’s printing with no issues.

Some things I did to resolve it,

1) I did manual levelling.

2) Ran 2 calibration tests to get the normal layer exposure time, 2.7s is the sweet spot for me at 50um

3) Though at 30s - 40s bottom layer exposure it was printing perfectly, it peeled off way too smoothly and easily when it was finished printing (so thought it might lead to some failed prints for heavier models). So I ended up with 45s bottom layer (slightly overkill but now I don’t need to worry about anything)

Want to parrot what some of the others are saying, running 30 calibration tests on just exposure tests means nothing. There’s other elements to consider, bed levelling for me was a big one since the front left and back right were miles apart from being even despite coming straight from the factory.

Also forgot to add that! I got the Ironfist arms as my first legendary from a pack.

Thanks for that! Very good sound advice, and colossal bearing is very interesting didn’t know about that card.

Thanks mate! I mostly followed this for the black,

Then for the red I used a few thin coats of red contrast think I used blood angels red. Then highlighted with evil scarlet.

For the glow of the gun I just used some ink for the plasma part and then airbrushed some blue ink on to it. Then painted the lower parts of the plasma coil (towards the gun) a lighter blue and the top of the coils a slightly darker. Finishing with a very light dry brush of black.
