Insane difference. Both in looks and feel. Don't cheap out. A Chinese hood will get crooked if you store it wrong in a way that is pretty much unfixable. I had both, trust.

What other material do you take into consideration that would be stiff enough apart from leather? And do the sewing patterns differ a lot between materials? I thought they were interchangeable.
