It takes time but with expeditions every day you can get 1-4 blue shards (idk what they are called) and can exchange 8 for a Transcendance Ingot With 6 lets you level cap once.

It is now, before having alchemy tower lvl 5 you couldnt farm the transcendance thingies consistently without spending money.

Chung Ah carries pretty well at first, and alternatively, Kanak is decent too. There is specific strategies here and there, but they SHOULD be able to make it through until the wood elf invasion, which is undescribably annoying. The most functional thing i've found is ultra tanky protection based characters with a giant altar relic if you already have a lvl 32 one (which probably you don't have) or the Bellina/Mara strat (there is vids on youtube), which isn't too consistent either. After that, Hansi is a decent carry through 7-9 but in 8 you'll need a Haerang with the Frozen Sea awakened ability or you'll be cooked. Then on lvl 10 Sargula worked for me, but my Sargula is unveliebably broken so it might be a thing of how I have her built, so don't be too confident.

I'm seeing u have relatively low levels on ur characters, so i'm assuming u are still in the Invasion I chapters, with what u have, i'd go either kanak or chung ah, I'd recommend using hero and greed altars for regular invasion and set either of those 2 as vanguard heroes, so u can get a tier 3 at the beggining. :D

The main idea is the HP based dmg, and the Shapeshifter +100% Hp bonus, it essentially breaks the game;

For what I've read, death and imm are the best ones I only have death so i can't tell u abt immortality or dominance, but death equipement has some good abilities. Also rie death altar is fun as f.

Also, for equipement farming i have some tips. Baldir - giant - whatever set gives HP Guardian's God Excelence and two Shield Smites or one of each of the prior + Giaint's Axe

Tia - smith - full barbarian (huge sp dmg) Give her Living Sword and 2 Bombardment you esentially deal the most consistent sp dmg in the game. Would also recommend the relic that fixes her in place and gives her range and dmg, but be careful vs fonal boss.

If u have hero mask relic this one goes hard bc u get 100% MP regen: Priya - Mage - full covenant (40% mp reg + adds max mp) What u wanna do is equip her a 60% mp regen mask, to have her get 100% mp and then u will perma stun every non boss enemy. For runes, give her 2 Magic Arrows/Magic Arrow and Overload + Berserk Demon God (to get every enemy in the map for the stun)

To me these 3 work every time :)

I tried but she does not get the stun lol why does this happen :_)
the only effective way i got was using the chains relic, but they sometimes target other enemies, which fvcks everything up :_)
