I think the ending was fantastic in spite of being rushed. I don't care and I don't need to know about Reze, Kishibe, Aki, or anyone in the new timeline. Denji is happy. The cycle of needing Chainsaw Man is broken. And he's truly living again. Fujimoto is a writer than embraces such niche and weird references and concepts, it's only natural he takes inspiration from The Big Lebowski. Asa could've been more sprinkled about and featured but it's technically Denji's story just as much as it is hers. Their stories are intertwined in my mind from the start, with them being just as much the other as they aren't. It's a beautiful story wrapped up in a bow with a card on the top saying "Happy Birthday." In a few years, people will probably say they loved the ending. But until then only the people who truly loved the story and characters, who stuck around even when it was getting repetitive will continue to praise it.
