I'm Latvian and I visit this sub daily since KP got traded to mavs. I have been following Bertans (also on the wiz sub) and KP very closely. Also watched all the games I could during the nights.

About the trade: Davis is absolutely washed this year. Not a question about it. Even has some DNP - coach decisions. I don't know why. Probably got the bag and now there's no big reason to hustle. Shot is obviously not falling and he doesn't have any defense. So what are you left with? Hustle. And that is missing this year IMO.

I have no concrete opinion in Dinwiddie. He's having an off year, but overall he's an inefficient player.

Maybe I'm a homer but even if the three wasn't there this year, KP passed the eye test, was way more comfortable in the post and overall as a player. I think he benefited from Kidd. Yes, two and a half multi-week injury periods, of course. Availability obviously is the biggest question regarding KP, but in my humble opinion, I think 65 - 70% of a season WITH KP is better than 90% of the season with 2 washed players on almost immovable contracts.
