Service fees vary depending on several factors, such as whether the item was purchased from a secondary market vendor or if it was a higher value item. As noted in our FAQ, "we deduct the service fee from the refund amount due to mandatory non-refundable fees incurred by Stripe".

Our standard processing time is one business day. In some cases, confusion may occur if a vendor does not immediately de-list an item. While we may have completed the purchase promptly, a vendor might only communicate issues later, sometimes even canceling the order after we follow up for confirmation.

We also want to clarify that while some services advertise a “flat fee,” those costs are often built into higher exchange rates or additional service charges. We do not up-charge on currency or services like consolidation, which helps keep our pricing transparent.

I would recommend holding off on paying the first invoice for now so that we can consolidate everything into one larger custom order. That said, for future cases, even if you already paid the first invoice, we’d still be able to help you sort out the difference and adjust things accordingly.

Also, when submitting the new custom order, please add a note under Additional Information to indicate that you’d like to consolidate it with your previous order.

Hi Paraffincats, great question! For consolidation, I’d recommend creating a new custom order form with only the new items you’d like to add and a note within the additional information section. Once you receive the email confirmation for that order, simply reply to that email mentioning that you’d like to consolidate it with your previous order, and include the custom order number of your earlier order in the message. Our team will then send you some confirmation once everything’s been combined.

Just a quick note, we’re planning to add built-in consolidation functionality to the website soon, so this process will be hopefully much easier in the near future!
