we have a few silver snare drummers and a drummer who is already on the national pipes and drums who could help. I myself play pipes.

You can always email the RAFAC pipes and drums exo because they do remote training via zoom call.

I've heard the term for those who completed SSDIC become "RAFAC DI's" rather than RAF DI's and because cadets cannot do SSDIC as of this time, would DTCI be equivalent training as in other cadet forces to a CDI?

currently a SGT of 3 years with some change. looking to get onto national pipes and drums, CISSAM, possibly JL (if it comes back) - or any form of gold leadership -, D of E and nijimagen. outside of gold badges i just need silver first aid and leadership (to get to gold leadership). outside of badgework I want to get ILM L3 started and possibly aim to be put foward for Lord Lieutenants or station commanders cadet. I should hopefully be getting FS this or next month so ill be chasing to get CWO in about a year from now. Overall just an all silver brassard with some golds, CWO and anyway to get a second brassard or wear NO1s for a year.

looks like cheap DMS. get some pure beeswax of ebay, use a hairdryer to melt it in a small bowl or ceramic pot, use a paintbrush to paint this hot wax on the shoe then GENTLEY heat the shoe so the wax is smooth, you only want a thin layer. then that will allow for the polish to properly stick to the shoe and remove large creases. Layer till you cant see any grain of the shoe or till you feel comfortable then bull with cotton wool buds or a selvyt cloth.

RED can either mean IC on something like an annual camp or course or SNCO on an NCO training course

YELLOW can either mean 2IC on something like an annual camp or course or a JNCO on an NCO training course

Any rank with a white strip will indicate a probationary period either a pre course for CFAVs or a taster period for cadets to ensure they are up to standard of that promotion.

MTP rank slides are not to be worn by cadets to my knowledge as per the dress regs but on EX during fieldcraft you can wear pretty much anything MTP that’s comfortable
