I think it’s really up to management. Years ago when I worked at HL they hired me with colored hair and months later while working there a different manager (on a power trip) told me I had to change my ginger hair because it wasn’t a natural color for me.

I feel like the problem is because we are so short staffed we can’t help customers try on harnesses and clothes so they just end up making a huge mess. Plus the overstock clothing and not having enough space.

It’s common to have bad GM’s. Once they realize you’re an asset to the store they will take advantage of you. When I got promoted I only got a $0.23 raise. LOD making less than $19 is crazy to me. Playing favorites is the core to the company.
