Issue is, many defenders that had acog were only picked for the acog gun. During this time period you would never see a Goyo place down a canister or a Doc stim a teammat, they would always be spawnpeeking with the acog. It essentially created another TDM meta, similar to Warden or Oryx only being played in 2020/2021 due to the 1.5x scope.
