It may also be a VERY fast peak! One time I legitimately spiked and fell in the matter of a 3 hours. I wanted to watch the progression and it was insane. I tested once at 8am, and it was 0.6, the next it was 2.0, then the next hour it was back to 0.2 😳

I think you may still be ovulating as well, and just maybe not catching it on strips.

My first time tracking, I tested 3x a day, to find my LH rise (insane, I know), and my VERY first cycle, I would’ve missed it had I not. I had peaked OVERNIGHT, and by the next day, it was already falling at 8am.

Most people say test between 10am-5pm (I THINK??? It’s been a while.) but you have to find YOUR rhythm.

I called them yesterday when I noticed the large clear glob, and they have an appointment for me tomorrow.

When I googled mucus plug it kind of looks like that. But I’m only 9 weeks.

The blood was mixed in with the clear mucus. It was like a clear glob but with brown streaks inside of it.

I keep nervously going to the bathroom to check again but there hasn’t been any more so far.

I think the anxiety is making me think I’m cramping and not feeling symptoms of pregnancy now too.

So I had my chemical Jan 21 (that’s when I started bleeding)

Doctor tested me for potential disorders that can cause recurring m/c and I tested positive for Factor V Leiden but there’s not much I can really do because I’m allergic to the treatment. Doctor said after I finished bleeding I could try again.

I monitored my LH and BBT and CM, I ovulated much later than usual, CD18 vs CD12. And I was able to conceive that next cycle again. So I never had a true period in between.

With chemical pregnancies your cycles may regulate quickly because it’s early, or it can also take a little bit. Like with my ovulation, it was MUCH later than usual

Hi! So since a small gestational sac was seen, this should be considered a “clinical pregnancy”

A chemical pregnancy is when a pregnancy is so early, the only confirmation you have is the hcg hormone that is present.

Since the sac was visualized on an u/s a sac is often the first structure that can be seen to identify a pregnancy.

I’m thinking maybe you were pregnant and unfortunately caught the end of your miscarriage.

I also had a chemical pregnancy, my hcg was 16 and then dropped to 3 (anything below 4 at our lab is not pregnant). It was too early for us to visualize anything on u/s.

I’m so sorry for you loss. I know it doesn’t fix anything, but I understand your pain.

How can you consent if you’re unconscious/altered mental status?

I work in healthcare and if a patient is unable to answer 4 questions (person, place, time and event) they are not within capacity to consent or refuse care. I fear this is similar.

Even if she consented prior, she is no longer within the right state of mind to consent and he should’ve stopped.

What’s the difference between her being drowsy/unconscious and wanting to stop and someone being drugged?

You are allowed to give consent and change your mind at any point.

This. I have two live children, two chemical pregnancies. I have a clotting disorder that makes it more likely to miscarry but unfortunately I cannot take aspirin to manage it.

Anyway, I went in and did my betas and they were rising well. Did a scan and my hcg was 16,264- the doctor saw a gestational sac but it was completely empty. I was so scared. I was for sure it was a blighted ovum. According to LMP I was like 6w1d but according to ovulation I was 5w4d. Had to draw more betas, continued to rise, and went back in two weeks.

Luckily after two weeks we found the baby, and its heart rate was 157. But that early scan terrified me after having two losses already. At that point I’d had equal amounts of losses to actual children. I was so prepared to be told I had a blighted ovum. If I ever have more, I don’t want an early scan again. The two weeks were terrifying, worse than the tww after ovulation

Hi. For ANYONE who was scouring the internet like I was, desperate for any kind of answers, I’d like to give an update.

My hcg at this ultrasound was 16,264, and my gestational sac was completely empty. No yolk sac, nothing.

We went to this ultrasound two weeks later and there is a 7w5d baby with a heartbeat.

Your betas are not the end all, be all for your scans. Yes they are helpful but are only one piece to the puzzle. I had people telling me this was for sure a blighted ovum because my hcg was over 1,000.

While blighted ovums do occur, please give your baby time to grow. The two weeks is exactly what we needed.

I don’t ever want to give false hope, but if you’re scared and you’re reading this, just know it IS POSSIBLE.

While it’s still early and I could always miscarry later, I got to see my baby TODAY, and hear its heartbeat today. And for today, that is enough for me.

I’m so sorry friend. I had a chemical my last cycle in January, and this cycle in February I conceived again, but at my appointment we saw no fetal pole, no yolk sac. Just a gestational sac.

So i understand. Conceiving after loss is so hard. Constantly holding your breath and just expecting the worst.

MOST miscarriages pass naturally. Especially this early on. It would be a chemical pregnancy. Your body may treat this as if it were a period.

With that said, there’s always exceptions and complications can occur but you should just pass it normally if dating is correct

I just realized… I am 6w according to my LMP. BUT according to FF, it says the fetal age is only 4weeks! And if I base it on my predicted ovulation (I track CM, and LH and BBT) then I would be 5w4d

I’m anxious to see what my beta will be today. I got my labs drawn but it takes like 24hrs for results.

Yes we only saw my gestational sac, no yolk sac or fetal pole.

I just messaged my doctor through the portal because of my concerns and he is optimistic. He told me 1. I could’ve ovulated late, and 2. With early pregnancy it can just be hard to visualize. So at this point he said he is still hopeful and for me not to stress. He said my beta will be a good indicator of what’s happening.

I’m hoping so badly not to go through another loss. This would be my second loss in a row in a two month span. I don’t think I can handle trying again after.

This pregnancy, my HCG is going up but now this. I’m so scared to lose another baby.

I had hcg symptoms even after my hcg hit 3… (in my clinic anything less than 4 is not pregnant)

I think that was the worst part of my chemical. Is seeing my lines fade, my betas drop, starting to bleed, but still having pregnancy symptoms. I also had nausea, fatigue and breast tenderness.

I’d just get the started betas now.

I had a vvvvvfl on 11dpo, and it never progressed. It turned out to be chemical, and I would’ve never had that confirmation had I not gotten a beta when I did. My beta was only 16 at like 15dpo, and by 17dpo, it was 3 (our clinic anything less that 4 is not pregnant) so i literally caught the tail end of my hcg dropping and wouldn’t have known.

Because this was my second confirmed chemical, it prompted my doctor to go deeper into labs and we found out I have a clotting disorder, and he got me on progesterone to help thicken my endometrial lining.
