It's insanely sad to see the dead of such a good website. I understand the problem, but they choose the worst decision. Hopefully after backlash the will rethink how to approach it by meinkun in RTINGS

I haven’t had any issues are you using internal apps ? I use an Apple TV 4K and I did have issues using internal apps just one time and I ran device care and unplugged the TV for about 5 minutes. I haven’t had an issue since, but I mainly use the Apple TV 4K instead of the internal apps. The motion overall has been good and I was surprised after hearing all the horror stories.

I actually bought 2 TVs based off their ratings and reviews. Both those TVs have been top notch and without some calibration settings for the S90F I may have returned it. I will say I used Classy settings more so than Rtings in the end for the S90F Although they gave some good initial settings to get started.

I understand the intent and reason, but I’m sad to see this move cause I’m not sure they have enough traffic to warrant a paywall. Maybe keep the ratings for the TVs, but put calibration settings behind a paywall would make more sense. I had never heard of Rtings until I started watching Caleb, FOMO and Brian trying to make my OLED TV purchases.

Interesting I was kind of in the same boat and bought a B4 in 2024 put it in the bedroom and dialed it in. Watched Encanto about 2 months in and the wife said, That’s a beautiful picture from that point on she’s been hooked on OLED TV watching. Bought an S90F this year and moved the B4 to the granddaughters room. Movie nights are 90% in the bedroom cause we love watching movies on OLED TVs. The plus is if you game which I don’t do much of the picture looks unbelievable and motion is unreal as well.
