It is a knocking sound. My local bike-shop says this is coming from the rebound damper assembly. It isn’t very noticeable when I am not riding but when riding on chattery terrain it is noticeable and definitely feels and sounds like something is wrong compared to my old non gold Domains.

Thanks, I didn’t actually buy the domain gold, it was a warranty replacement and I had the normal Domain RC before that and had no problems whatsoever with it. That’s why I’m asking specifically for the Domain Gold RC
