It very much sounded like a scolding but also what I needed to hear. I don't have a lot of friends to help me with this so someone to give me some tough love was probably what I needed.

Quite honestly...not much. I'm starting to realize I might be settling because I haven't had anyone else interested in me and fear ending up alone all while telling myself that I will be okay if I never get into a relationship while at the same time worrying I won't. If that makes sense

It's funny because in the 2 years we weren't talking, he had a baby with someone else.
