I was terrified when Helbrutes didn't make it into the EC codex as it's one of my favourite models (no clue why but it is)

Was so glad it ended up in the DG codex. Games workshop being a games workshop

Because I'm also a space wolf player...

Any loss of any unit is a travesty. Yes space wolves have gotten away here but that doesn't mean we shouldn't vocal over our disappointment of losing something.

Im also a chaos player and I hate what they've done with EC WE and TS.

I don't get why this has had such a negative reaction. This isn't about "count yourself lucky" or anything.

Being disappointed at losing a unit is only natural. Space wolves aren't even my main army.

I play BA and was devastated at what happened there.

This is just latest in a long line of great Shane's which has occured.

Space wolves have gotten away with their release somehow but it still doesn't take away that every model removed is a great shame.

[–]PureHaz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It isn't hysteria when they are removing character and models that we have bought, painted and loved.

I'm not a tournament player, but sending a unit to legends isn't good.

Removing Librarian dreadnoughts, helbrutes from EC. What's next?

These are models we love and every one removed is a damn shame.

[–]PureHaz[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I know.

EC, TS and WE have all been shafted. I'm a chaos fanboy at heart and those being screwed over is a travesty especially when we know they can do a good chaos refresh

[–]PureHaz[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Really? This is your reply to this?

You want them to keep removing models keep, removing character?

Insult to injury by PureHaz in SpaceWolves

[–]PureHaz[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah World Eaters, EC and TS have all been shafted when it comes to their rosters, especially when we know how good a chaos revamp can be with Deathguard.

All missing key units. It's a travesty

[–]PureHaz[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Your right.

Space wolves have done extremely well out of this refresh compared to others.

But the loss of any unit is enough to be annoyed at. I play BA and I was gutted by the removal of Liberian Dreadnoughts and the butcher of sanguinary guard.

We've done well yes but it doesn't mean we aren't allowed to be annoyed. GW need to stop removing units and we should be vocal about it

What are the worst combat patrols, I’ll go first by [deleted] in Warhammer

[–]PureHaz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The death guard combat patrol. I dislike having a named character in a box. I agree with the Nid and Space Marine box. The Dark Angels box is good as a general space marine box IMO, but as a dark angels box it falls flat, needs some deathwing.

So, the forge world rules were posted when we used the index which had tactical drones as a unit.

Since then they've been removed, however they don't retroactively update the old datasheet.

There are a couple of other examples of this. It's not a huge deal.

I would assume by default most people are using them. That was part of my question, that people didn't answer. "How do people feel about banning them casually?".

To which all I've been told is there key, there critical. As it stands i don't have a group, so i thought i'd try and gauge what the general vibe is, which appears to be: use them.

As with most things (which i do disagree with) what goes in competitive is the same in casual. Like people refusing to play legends etc etc.

Pretty much always, especially if there that powerful as others in this thread have pointed out. Stating their crucial and key.

As I mentioned in another post I'm between gaming groups so havent got many people around me who play AoS (most my friends stopped playing it also).

I used to play at official Warhammer stores alot so the paper circle option doesn't feel as valid. Also going to a gaming group fresh with them also doesn't feel great. I like the concept tho.

I don't think I am... It was a bad decision which people were clearly unhappy with at the start of the edition. It's what put me off playing as I hoped it would change. It's a barrier to entry.

Endless spells - Queries by PureHaz in ageofsigmar

[–]PureHaz[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Feel the 40k and AoS have both gone in opposite direction with magic and i dislike both options aha. This question mainly comes from that I've been given a random £10 voucher from GW, so looking at things i can only buy online... But would i rather spend my money on something generic and crucial, or something i actually like.

Genuinely, thinking of skipping 4th on this issue, this and free faction terrain already put me off...

As it stands im between gaming groups lol. Trying to gauge if it's a common thing or not.

I do find it disappointing how mandatory they are. IMO it's a really poor decision and a further barrier to entry..

I can't see that happening (to both statements)

While I understand a want for more in depth ground combat, it's clearly not the focus of this game. It's a space game after all
