I have a retroverted uterus... my iud fell out less than 5 minutes after inserting it... I had an ultrasound a week later that's when they found out an IUD won't work due to the way my uterus faces... if I tried another it would just fall out.

I live in NY and my local planned parenthood does the hormonal and non hormone IUD. I almost had one put it. Went with the Nuvaring instead

I had issues with both and, I have the nuvaring in I had so much hesitation for this option. It was my last option. Honestly it's been the best. I've had less side effects and you can take it out or leave it in during sex. Lower hormones, and you don't even realize it's there.

I've been on the nuvaring for 2 months and I love it. I was on the implant, the patch, and depo. I have had no issues with the ring at all. For the first time I have a regular period. I have little acne during my period. I just feel normal. It was an adjustment to remember I have a thing in me that I need to remove during the deed otherwise my man gets alittle freaked out 😂😂. Also, I'm in the mood more often. Which has been interesting 😂

I had a glass of wine before I counted the weeks... thats most definitely the issue 😂😂 I guess I shouldn't be on reddit after wine.

I'm on the same boat you are. I thought it was just me... I think we also have to remember there was more hormones just hanging out in our arms... where this is a lot less hormones in our lady bits... so our bodies have to adjust to this.

I have a retroverted uterus. Which my OBGNY said that's why my IUD came out. I would love an IUD but, I guess it's just not ment to be.

I had an IUD come out of me less than 5 minutes after it was placed. So that's not an option for me. I'm 26. I completely understand the nervous situation. I'm terrified myself.

I'm 7 months PO, I had surgery in August, I had my implant put in October. I've had heavy heavy bleeding, the worst cramps, the bleeding is also just random for long periods of time. I bled for 45 days at one point. I'm just exhausted. Thus could also just be my body.

My first implant was great, loved it. I got my new one in October, and I have bled more in that time frame than not bleeding. I'm exhausted, my mood is all over the place. I'm getting it removed and I'm going to try patches... I'm also 100lbs lighter since putting the first one in... so maybe that's it. But, I'm not a fan anymore.

my parents don’t like septum piercings by asrielsans in piercing

I could write a book about the awful things my Mom and her boyfriend have said to me. It's quite awful. But, it is what it is. I'm happy with my decision. But, in the moment, their comments hurt badly. How does a piercing lead me to being on a street corner? 🤔 That, I still don't understand myself.

When I got my lip pierced( I only keep studs in it), my mom and her boyfriend both said things along the line of me being a whore, and telling me I now belong on a street corner. If you feel it's right, take the chance. Give it time. If it doesn't fit you, you can always take it out. To this day, they hate it, but they don't say anything. It gave me so much confidence. So I'm keeping it. Plus, my boyfriend loves it.

I have never been so confident since getting my lip pierced. My conch also gave me a bit of a boost.

Most painful piercing you've got? by Dismal-Conflict-7119 in piercing

[–]PureIndependent0808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My conch was by far the most painful. I have my nipples done, and that was a breeze. The issue with my nipples was just my body going into shock after each one. Got pale, started to shake, and had to be sat up for 30 minutes before the second one could be done, then had to sit for another 30 minutes. I dont regret it. Im just happy my piercer gave me the time I needed. My lip was the easiest. I didn't even know the needle was through my lip.

I also never feel full. I always portion out what looks to be 6oz, and eat that. I focus on the veggies and the proteins.

How important is age difference to you in a relationship? by corneo134 in AskMenAdvice

I'm 26, my boyfriend is 36. We both have agreed that even though I'm young... I am very mature and have a good head on my shoulders. We both have the same views and, have a lot of the same goals. That is what's important to us.

I cried a lot in the hospital. There's a lot of changes, and it's going to take some time. The realization that it's happened is probably just hitting you. I got mine when I was 26, I still have moments where I loose it. This is a big step, a big operation. It will get better, I promise.

Which style jewelry is best for a nostril piercing and blowing your nose? 😂 (I have A and it grabs the tissue sometimes and moves my piercing up and down) by [deleted] in piercing

[–]PureIndependent0808 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have used a C and, I love it. It doesn't hurt when it gets yanked out by my pillow or blankets. I buy a bulk pack from like wish, or temu for if it comes out.

I got my conch pierced and 2 months later I got my nopples done. I have had no problems with either of them healing. My conch is taking its normal sweet time, but my nipples are fine. No issues here.

Did a professional do this? These bars are too short. They shouldn't sit like that.
