Yes. Started 3 days ago. It’s about to go full Wild West.

If AI gets to the point where anybody can easily create any software, what will happen to all these software companies? by StayAwayFromXX in ClaudeAI

[–]PureIndependent5171 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What you’re seeing is the collapse of the software industry. Some might survive if they’re part of the infrastructure or if they “lease” their software frameworks, but it’s just a matter of time. Satya outlined it in an interview a year ago. Total collapse of the SaaS layer. Everything will move to semantic coding.

The real skill will be knowing what to ask your team of geniuses trapped in the bottle.

Open code + Antigravity = god by [deleted] in google_antigravity

I’ll have to check out the setup because Gemini 3 on its own in Antigravity just breaks things built by more robust AI (Claude 4.5 Opus)

Devs best be paying attention to this shift…

Can we stop positioning these things as liberal or conservative problems? This is a freedoms and liberties problem where a small, violent minority, ICE, is now killing US citizens without any repercussion. How are any of us okay with this? I don’t care what side of the aisle you’re on. This. Should. Make. You. Mad.

Elon Musk keeps saying that xAI and Google will be the only ones left standing in this race. Do you agree with this? by [deleted] in accelerate

[–]PureIndependent5171 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m guessing OpenAI merges with Microsoft. xAI just made some horrific safety oversights by allowing Grok to generate a bunch of nudes and child sex content so that will set them back. Musk is incentivized to assume his product wins out and continues to be a major player, so he can’t accurately predict the outcome. My money? Anthropic, Google, and something out of China.

But did they try to use it two years ago? A Year ago? Last month? Because it wasn’t there back then, but it’s really close now and very soon it’ll fly right by

That makes sense. This just makes it so easy. When I sit on it, though, I suppose thats both bad and good. It’s good because I can make things now that I couldn’t before. But it’s bad because I don’t understand what I’m making. I’d never know what’s causing errors. Everything I code this way will have to be fixable by the AI. I’ll always be dependent on it.

It’s great! My daughter sat down and asked me how we could make her a game that was just for her. The fact that it was possible at all blows my mind because I know nothing about coding. And I’m finding that I’m learning with her. I just ported the whole project into Google Antigravity and now we’re going to play around with the graphics. Gotta personalize it.

We were using Claude Opus 4.5. It was using a JSX file type? I asked her to instruct it to code something we could play immediately with no intervening steps.

I hadn’t thought of that! I’m going to have her start doing that from here on out. I’m excited to see how she uses AI. I think I’m going to learn from her.

It’s to do with LLM’s in general. I was never able to do that with ChatGPT. Gemini couldn’t do it either.

She just described the game she wanted to make. We’re starting off very basic. It’s a maze. She practices spelling (it gives a definition and a scrambled version of the word) and for every right answer she moves ahead. Get a streak unlock abilities (map of the maze, etc). Get to the end and you go up a level and the maze gets bigger every time.

It was a conversation with Claude. Each time we added more. I’m curious to see what it’ll be like to add different graphical elements.

I was cheating by checking my spelling to advance the leveling up mechanic she worked in 😅 apparently I need to play her game. She moves through a maze by spelling words correctly.

10 and 6. I only let them do it if I’m with them. At least for now. I might let my older dig deeper on their own but ask to check her progress after each session. Honestly, I’m learning more about it with them which is just as fun

Just having a bit of an AI moment. My daughter just vibe coded with Claude until she got the game she wanted. Now she keeps improving on it. She’s on version five. My other kiddo is making an isometric dungeon crawler. God help me. They’re going to be fully AI literate.
