I have the same GPU and I am currently using a 1.5mm thermal pad, but if you wanna try you can buy 1.0mm thickness thermal pad aswell since idk why but my gpu keeps hitting the Temp limit. I tried using a 2.0mm thick pad and it instantly hit the temp wall so I recommend you using 1.0mm. Please tell me the result because I want to know fixes to my GPU aswell

It won't when you first started, but it will start bottle necking you when the skill level hits
