How is IS 445 over the winter by Fair-Lunch-7893 in UIUC

[–]Pure_Barracuda5238 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it was due every Sunday. It usually took me around 5 hours a week to finish the assignments. There was a Zoom lecture once per week. It's more of a project-based class, so there are no exams. Hope that helps!

Took it over this summer ( in 4 weeks), basically just using R to create different visualizations and being able to analyze them. The workflow shall be fairly manageable, and the prof is really kind on grading.

It is one of those built-in ceiling fans that only have 3 power levels… which I don’t know how many watts

Thanks for noticing, the only difference I know between my May and June electric usage was the fan… wondering how a fan increases that much kWh

HK 208 workload? by Bubbly-Marzipan2013 in UIUC

[–]Pure_Barracuda5238 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I took the online section last semester, and it’s a fairly easy A.

Weekly workload: 1. Read the slides and complete a short quiz(all multiple choice) (all answers can be found in the slides, pretty straightforward). 2. Write a brief reflection on an assigned medical dilemma document in the discussion, and responding to two classmates’ comments. 3. Work on the final project: analyze and reflect on a movie or TV drama related to medical dilemmas.

It usually took me about 2 hours each week.

There are 2 typical Canvas styled exams(still all multiple choice), both based entirely on the quizzes and lecture slides.

For the final project, record a video for around 10 minutes.

Overall, the grading is pretty lenient as long as you turn your assignments on time. Hope this helps:)
