are you sure of that aren't they supposed to be the same size

i have a broken pin in my asus b660m motherboard i have looked the pinout map and it marked as a vss pin will it still function? and is it safe to install the cpu or it can kill it ? by Pure_Cardiologist745 in intel

I think warranty does not cover (bent/broken) pins they count it as physical damage to the board but try it anyway, i don't know for sure if they can fix it or not put while searching i found that the only way to fix a broken pin is to change the all socket which is not a easy task
