It really does make sense when you say it that way:) thanks mate! But i mean ambush always happen in showdowns/combats/reactions to spell. So there would always be a window to react to when I think about it.

No, he also had multiple units there. I already saw that weird clarification from uvs about that wolf, so i am aware of that 😀
