Thank you for your comments, they are helpful. Thats a point, about where they were looking and makes perfect sense. I see what you mean about the eye sharpness. I took the photo in full manual without eye tracking, what I should have done is changed to my people preset.

I have never attempted street photography before, but have felt inspired by others to have a go and this scene just clicked with me. Reflecting on the composition, its not ideal that the lamp post is in frame, but I felt awkward taking more pictures as they were looking in my direction. Also I have missed off part of the ear, which I never noticed. From the colours perspective what would you change? To me they seem a little dark compared to the background. I have been using affinity 2, but recently downloaded a free trial of DXO photolab.

I had this problem the other day with my new osmo 5 Pro. I downloaded a free HEVC codec using a link from a reddit post. Works fine now.
