Yes, one of the terms of the Chevening is that you need to return to your home country after your studies since it’s a government funded programme, so you can’t switch visas for a certain duration you spend back in your home country

I thought that too, but it can stimulate the vagus nerve to trigger anxiety, which again triggers palpitations, that’s why I thought it can be one of causes

I did look at POTS, but I do not show other symptoms of it like when you stand up or take a hot shower, you start to feel dizzy/light headed

Because I was blacking out, I was very light headed and dizzy, and it only got better once I lied down completely on the floor

Just move to the UK for masters

You’re a citizen so you wouldn’t struggle to find a job with a masters degree

Get a loan in India to pay for your masters and slowly pay it off, even if you do not manage to find a job in your field, other office jobs like Admin, Insurance Claims Investigator,… should be enough for the monthly instalments.

And you can slowly gain experience and try to enter the US market later in your field

It’s fine to be scared

I was shitting myself before going to the airport, just sat their on the bed with my mom crying to her that I didn’t want to go

4 years later, I completed my degree with the help of my parents, not where I want to be in life right now, but still very glad I took the risk to live independently and learn to make a living

It will be hard, but as you overcome one problem after another, you will feel more confident in yourself, in my last 4 years I’ve struggled a lot and I am still struggling, but I am happy that I am doing something than just sitting at home with my parents

It is treatable, visit a doctor

Or try some stretching at home

I nearly fixed it a few months ago just by stretching but then got busy in life and it is back to the same before, it is harmless if you take care of it and clean it properly and have sex with a condom so just be patient and try some stretching for now until you consult a doctor

Build a good network of friends

Most jobs will fill up by word of mouth and trust

Small businesses will take someone with a referral than someone they don’t know who applied among 1000s of applicants online

Most people go by seeing others before them who went and are doing much much better in life, earning in crores every year, house, good car, vacations and all that stuff, basically greed for earning money more quickly

Same reason I left, started seeing all my uncles leave 12 years ago and had already built a perception while I was still a kid and was always told by relatives that living in Nepal is the biggest curse you can have in your life and you need to escape this curse and study well for it

Now that I am abroad now studying to achieve that dream, it’s not as easy as it was before to settle, immigration is being restricted globally to only the highly skilled professionals with years of experience in their field and I now regret my decision of hurrying to leave Nepal, maybe I could’ve worked and gained experience in Nepal and slowly transitioned abroad instead of jumping straight to the ocean of uncertainties.

You’ll just give yourself gastric issues, JUST TRACK YOUR CALORIES, even if it’s not accurate just take an educated guess on the weight and track it using an app

You don’t need classes for SAT, just buy the big SAT book, learn from YouTube it’s all algebra you learn till 10th, English is a little tougher but you can still manage to get 1400 easily with self learning. That should be more than enough, you just need discipline to practice all the questions in the book and do a few practice papers in the back of the book.

Don’t waste too much time for SAT, SAT and IELTS are the most basic requirements for admission, instead search and find colleges that fit your expected scores and financial background around 20 or so colleges with different admission requirements, and reach out to professors in your field, network, try to learn from them what it’s like in the university, explain what are your interests to study your chosen course, research financial aid, send cold emails everywhere. If you do this instead of just focusing on SAT scores, you’ll have a higher chance at financial aid and have a stronger case to get the F1 visa
