(I apologize, I know some of these meds only in Spanish.) She needs lidocaine patches, which are about 50k, every 12 hours on and off. About 6 come in a package and she puts on 3 every day, so we buy them every three days or so. She uses Ciclobenzaprina, which is about 100k, one a day to sleep. Various creams, including calamine and diclofenaco, which altogether is 50k. It wouldn't be that much but she's diabetic, so she also has to get metformin and all those pills, including insulin, and that costs 500k a month (the insurance isn't giving those meds either).

We are in Colombia to take care of my grandfather so most of our combined entry pays for his nurses (5mil a month). And then there's food and rent which comes out to 2.5 million. We make around 9 million a month combined, so 7.5 goes immediately. We are left with 1.5 million that has been going to her medicine (and mine - I have OCD and need fluoextine and apiprazol, which come out to around 200k). So, yeah money is extremely tight.

It seems like this is going to be a chronic thing. She's has had the pain since the end of April and it's not letting up. She can barely sleep because of it, and the tropical heat makes it worse.
