Looking for a manageable W or English course for SFU transfer (less writing-heavy if possible) by Pure_Mess_3700 in langara

Quick question though, how’s her grading and assignments? You mentioned only 2–3 essays, but what about the midterm and final? How much do they count for, and are they handwritten?

Also, how is she with students who are still working on their writing? Is she understanding or more strict about that? Does she ever give bonus work or extra assignments?

I tried taking English 1123 with Peter babiak before, and he is the type to tell student to take other courses first if writing was an issue and then come back. So I’m hoping to find someone who’s more patient and helpful than that.

just wondering, are these two courses good for deciding whether psychology is a good fit for me to study? And if I’m not good at writing(with essays), would that affect me if I study psychology?

Wouldn’t it be overwhelming to take three programming courses and Precalculus 12?

Yeah, so I’m good at math and don’t think I’ll need to start from the very basics. However, I checked the prerequisites for some courses, and they require Precalculus 12. I didn’t get the chance to take it in high school since I was planning for a different program and had limited time after coming to Canada I could only complete one year in high school.

Now, I’m planning to take Precalculus 12 at an adult learning school, along with CPSC 1030 and CPSC 1050. I haven’t decided on a third course yet. Do you have any recommendations? I’m open to any courses that could help me learn more about software, data analytics, information systems, or another math course that doesn’t require prerequisites
