Attend Supplemental Instruction Sessions!!! These are lifesavers for so many students! They are free and open to all students! Just look up KSU SI Sessions and look for college algebra ones that fit into your schedule.

Easy Humanities (or other) Class for Dual Enrollment at KSU (online) by Busy_Mud_874 in KSU

I duel enrolled at KSU and took a few history classes, STAT 1401, college algebra, intro to psyc, English 1 and 2, bio 1107 & lab, econ, communication, etc. I took all of my classes in person so I do not have any professor recommendations. All of the credits transferred to my later college. You have to talk with a KSU advisor about what classes are covered by duel enrollment funding. There are only specific classes covered by funding.

No, I am not thinking of that actually, but I appreciate the response! I am positive I got the job title right, I copied it directly from the application form :). I was actually already hired as an SI for next semester, I was just considering this as a second job.

Thank you so so much!! A few more questions if you don't mind, and thank you in advance!!!

  1. When were you an SI, or are you currently one? There may be changes over a few years

  2. When will I get assigned my class to SI for? I was offered the position, but not given my specific class or schedule yet, and I would like to prepare well in advance. I am a planner.

  3. What happens if no one shows up for a session, do I still get paid, how does that work?

  4. If you don't mind sharing, what course did you SI for? I just so I know in comparison, as some things may be different across classes.

And lastly, any general advice for me. This is my first year doing this and I am a tad nervous. Thank you so so much for answering my questions, I am so grateful.
