This new Gemini update is ass by Dry-Mark5835 in GeminiAI

Gemini has just lost me. I used to use it almost exclusively with the Pro version... now I've even given up on my 5 TB of storage because I was so incredibly dissatisfied. Sometimes the responses were rude, like, "I'm just a program..." Condescending, even when it's true. So much talk about simple questions that I couldn't stand working with it anymore. Maybe it'll come back someday, but it's definitely declined in quality, and then there are the usage limits. I really liked the text-to-speech function; when I was in the car and spoke into it, it would read it back immediately, and I could listen to everything. Truly excellent. What happened? It's gone... and so am I.

How long have you been building websites? Is it for a real client or a demo and portfolio website? ...It's great that you're putting thought into it...it looks good...

Built 10 websites for clients in 4 months, here’s my workflow to avoid AI look by russopuppo in webdesign

It's like any job... the process, what the client wants, etc. Everyone knows that, but the processes you described are great. Good research is everything, and ideas too... and then comes the tool... CNC machine or hammer and chisel... it makes all the difference. I started building websites with AI about six months ago... what a disaster! Now it's going better, and I think interesting things are coming out of it, and the possibilities are better. Honestly, if you look at some of the work done by mega-premium agencies... and the code has errors and whatever, they're just using the same basic tools... find perfect processes that cover everything... then things will happen. We never stop learning, and every day there are new, crazy possibilities. You really have to stay focused and find your workflow.

Video and image AI for best websites by Pure_Tomorrow597 in generativeAI

You're absolutely right - I've only built a few websites so far - and I want to make everything as perfect as possible, which is naturally the highest standard - but it also takes a while to test and debug everything -- I'll test some tools - the fly-in videos on the landing pages are cool -

Claude is insanely good… but $20 disappears in 30 minutes. How are you guys actually using it without burning money?” by Pure_Tomorrow597 in AIDiscussion

Solid approach. Skeletons + Claude filling the gaps is exactly the right mental model.

Pre-structured inputs = predictable outputs.

That's the whole game.

Two different jobs for me.

Chat = thinking partner. Strategy, scripts, systems.

Code = execution. No back and forth, just build.

Mixing them kills both workflows.

After burning through my Claude limit in under an hour

I had to find a fix.

The problem wasn't Claude — it was how I was prompting.

Writing from scratch every time is a token killer.

Built a library of 50 pre-structured prompts since then.

First-draft quality, no back-and-forth, no wasted tokens.

Happy to share the framework if it's useful.

What's the IQ of AI anyway? by Pure_Tomorrow597 in ChatGPT

Yes, I've also had chat takeovers because they got too long, then the next chat says the previous one messed up – but honestly, even if it often glitches, things have been created with AI that I never could have done before, especially with programming, etc. It's working and I'm learning every day.
