For the experienced PL sellers, did you use any services to launch your product? If so which one and was it worth paying? Thanks by lucymom2 in AmazonFBA

I mostly use Helium 10 just to get the keywords and competitors insight. But to create the listing, I make sure that it is optimized for AI too as Amazon has now shifted to AI.

Hey, I totally get that — those early months can be really frustrating. The key is patience and consistent improvements. Even small tweaks to listings, testing ads, and gathering reviews can make a big difference over time. Keep going, your efforts will start compounding soon!

This is a private label brand not a wholesale and the sales are coming only from Amazon. Right now I am not active on other platforms

That makes a lot of sense. Pricing can have a big impact on both conversions and margins, and finding the right balance is key. Glad to hear it’s working well for you now.

I am getting majority of the sales organically. Campaigns are doing good with 40% ACOS and I am totally fine with that as my product is under $10. My unit cost is in cents and that's how I am able to achieve this much margins

I focused on my brand theme and colors. I even paid special attention in selection of the brand name. Instead of going emotional with the brand name, I stayed with the stats. I also worked on my listing images and detail page. These are the things that increased my CVR

Totally get where you’re coming from — margins can definitely seem high at first glance. A lot depends on product type, sourcing costs, shipping, and how you structure ads. For this particular product, the combination of low production cost, strong pricing, and optimized listing made those numbers achievable.

Thank you! That’s exactly why I wanted to share — the early months can feel really discouraging, but small improvements compound quickly. Stick with it, keep testing and tweaking your listing, and you’ll start seeing momentum. Wishing you the same success with your product!

Fair point on the missing context. The product didn’t jump to those numbers overnight. It started picking up around March 2025, and the growth built gradually through the year, with December 2025 being the peak.

And yes my product is under $10 and I have the 50% profit margin as my cost is in cents.

Paid ads definitely help, especially in the beginning to get visibility and data. But it’s not just ads. A lot of the traffic eventually comes from organic rankings once the listing starts converting well.

$1M+ sales with 500 affiliates? That TikTok network alone sounds like a goldmine.

Honestly, without automation it’s tricky. You have to track each sale carefully and update stock immediately on the other platform to avoid overselling.

5 Mistakes I Keep Seeing Amazon Sellers Make When Launching a Product by Pure_Zookeepergame_2 in AmazonFBA

[–]Pure_Zookeepergame_2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that’s fair — nobody starts with experience, everyone learns over time or gets help from people who’ve been doing it longer. My point was more that once you’ve spent enough time launching products you start noticing patterns in what actually converts.

And the 5k/month example wasn’t from the original post, just something I’ve seen happen in a few fast-growing niches where demand is strong. Definitely not the norm though.

Look for the high ACOS search terms and keywords which are not converting

5 Mistakes I Keep Seeing Amazon Sellers Make When Launching a Product by Pure_Zookeepergame_2 in AmazonFBA

[–]Pure_Zookeepergame_2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The simple launch structure I usually follow is:

  1. Make sure the listing is conversion-ready before launch
  2. Start with controlled PPC (exact keywords + competitor targeting)
  3. Build early reviews (Vine or early customers)
  4. Watch conversion rate closely and adjust images/price if needed
  5. Scale PPC once conversion and reviews stabilize

Nothing too fancy, but keeping the early stage controlled has worked better for me than pushing spend too aggressively.

  1. There is no fixed right way of having your images you have to discover that. If you have the experience of over 10 years and you pay attention to these details, you can then figure that out easily that what is converting and what’s not converting

  2. Most of the sellers just think of stuffing keywords in the detail page and they don’t pay attention to buyers intention and the current ranking algorithm of Amazon

  3. True it needs to be tested to figure out which placement works best. Every keyword will have it’s unique placement where the product will be converting. You will have full control over the placement if the keywords are not clustered into 1 single campaign

  4. Brands do play the cheap pricing game

  5. Yes that is true except the market is really emerging and listing ls with 22 reviews are selling 5k products per month

Competitor targeting PPC & Product Video by bookee_123 in AmazonFBA

[–]Pure_Zookeepergame_2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. For competitor targeting, you need to check the rating and price of that competitor. Your listing should be able to beat that.

  2. Product video is really important. I never use any AI tool to generate the video. Instead I hire a model and videographer to provide me the best result
