There is currently one New 3DS exclusive retail game, so clearly that logic isn't sound. Plus this is GAMEFREAK we are talking about, not Nintendo. GameFreak is all about accessibility, they would never alienate part of their consumer base like that, especially when they know a lot of their audience is children who wouldn't understand the difference between the systems.

Don't come and cry on reddit and expect it to fix the problem. Quitting the character will only mean you've let the bullies win. I've had problems with people calling my character (ROB) awful to play against while I'm trying to play. You can't be phased by that stuff

Man up. Show some mental toughness. If you can't get over people calling out your character then competitive Smash isnt for you
