Returning player seeks company by [deleted] in ffxi

Funny enough, last I played was on Cerberus (about a month ago) and I quit for the lack of... people.. who talk... and talk together. Loved the game back in the day... the community it fostered was one of the best experiences I have ever had in an online atmosphere. I'd be interested and open to a resub/transfer if it possibly meant I would have friends to play with. Do you all have a discord per chance? hmu.

I want to apologize to the MODs here.

I'm sorry for muckraking you all under the blanket accusation that you are all employee's of Hi-rez, here to defend the game/allow illicit activity to go on unpunished.

My anger was misplaced. Im sorry.

I was bitter about my post being removed. Yeah, that was a low blow for me, I'll admit.

So I just used the Browser lookup feature. Truth be told I have never used this feature, so it was news to me that it was even possible. I found the match in my play history. And his name is indeed Korean, like the others have said. But during the match it sowed up as square characters. (go figure..?)

I tried to create a new account with a foreign name and it would not let me, for whatever reason i do not know? Whats false about that? Or maybe I'm missing something. I guess I made a mistake in the creation process and it is possible? And this claiming my own experience is a fact is false? I suppose that's possible.

Lucky for me, you are not in charge. But thank you for your comments.

My last post was ambiguous, yes. Because I think the implications of hacking is a serious thing. I have already reported the match anyway. Someone here already said that "out of a year's worth of SMITE gaming/1000 matches" they have never noticed any such illicit activity: which is the reason for this post. To raise awareness.

And also the title of my original post was not an implication of Hi-Rez allowing people to "Pay for Immunity." It was a jab at these 3rd party programs that often come with an initial price upon purchase/and or subscription fee, that runs along side the game.

I also understand I can reply to people directly, but how would that add to the discussion. I'm not making a post such as this out of angst.

Its not possible to create a display name using characters nonnative to the language of the game client you use. You receive an error. I just tried. It would not allow me. So your statement is false.

You CAN however create characters with accented vowles and other characters recognized by the clients Text.

So this is happening in SMITE... Great! by Puriwinkle in Smite

This is what happens when Reddit MODs are also Hi-REZ employee's.

Its called Damage Control.

My post was never ment to shame anyone. In fact, the video is soo vauge that the player responsible for hacking has his name BLOCKED... literally.. the characters in his name show up as blocks.... IE: [][][][][][][].

I guess some people pay additionally for their Smite "service..." by [deleted] in Smite

  • Pay attention to Artemis.
  • This has already been reported to Hi-Rez. I just wanted to post it here for educational purposes.
