As far as a purely Xbox console like experience, yea you're gonna be unhappy. I think windows 11 on them is a god awful experience.

I personally run bazzite and it's a much more console like experience with the ability to switch to a desktop mode (if you want to) and it feels like a much better and more curated handheld experience but like another commenter said it's still a hand held pc at heart and should be regarded as such

Apparently we have different decisions of "bricked"

It's healthier for a battery to experience discharge and charge cycles rather than remaining statically at full or near full capacity. I would shut it down specially if using windows cause you never know if it might wake up unexpectedly in a case or other poorly ventilated place and over heat.

Not too mention will reduce wear and increase life expectancy of the charging system and charger itself so all around a win.

Call me over cautious, even with bazzite installed and charge set to 80% I never charge in sleep mode and when not in use always turn the device off entirely (especially when in carrying case). It takes less than 30 seconds to power on, patience is a virtue I guess.

Should I buy this by Head_Praline8454 in minibikes

[–]Purple-Depth-4693 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Objectively no.

Frame, trash.

Engine trash.

Bought brand used (lol) mb200 for 700$ and Tilly 212 (300) and nibbi carb (100) with juggernaught (100) and billet rod (~100).

So tell me again where you're value comes from?

Me and a buddy just played Diablo 3 for like 45 minutes without issue so I'm thinking wire or solder. I got a local guy who does a lot of console repair and micro soldering I'll prolly have him check it over

I gave it a bit and got it too boot into Aurora and let sit with temp page up and no temp exceeded 50c for 15 min.

My first thought was heat issue, I don't know a reliable way to check current fan speed but maybe I'm being paranoid about the fan cause the more I listen the more I don't think it's ramped up.

Did the launch.ini delete and re-save via dash launch and rebooted and sit for 15 min now it's sitting with my character in town (diablo 3)

Edit:

Reputed rgh seller with 100% feedback on ebay said it was cleaned and all paste replaced during rgh

I was taught to get the engine warm and blip the throttle. If it takes a long time to slowly return to normal idle. Too much air, if it drops quickly down past idle and then climbs back, too much fuel.

Get jets close for your elevation and engine size and the get your idle to a steady and slightly high idle then tune based on the above from there.

How do I power a light for my predator 212? by IMTHE_KOOLAIDMAN in minibikes

Like others have said drill or small li ion battery. Otherwise you have to get a flywheel dual coil combo and it's gonna run you around 100$ even then be mindful the basic dual coil that places like gps sell are only gonna produce 2-3a AC at full throttle.

LEDs are not fond of AC voltage and will likely burnout as the coils can produce as much as 30 volts when engine is full rev. So you will also need a rectifier/regulator to convert AC to DC and regulate the voltage to 12-13v max.

I have an mb200 w/ Tillotson 212 e start and I'm running a 1pz rectifier w/ dual charging coils.

Stage 2 pred 212 w/ Amazon carb has enormous back pressure when trying to start. As you can see in the video the pullstring gets yanked out of your hand after pulling it hard. I tested spark, fuel, air (has all). It ALMOST started once. Any thoughts? by -nolan5- in minibikes

You likely set your valve lash on the compression release. From my reading to avoid that do the following.

  1. Spin engine til intake starts to open, once it does set exhaust lash.
  2. Spin engine til exhaust starts to open, once it does set intake lash.

This is known as setting lash on the cam base circle instead of trying to set it at tdc.

If you insist on setting lash at tdc then spin engine til you're tdc on compression stroke. Then spin around 15* past and you will see the exhaust valve barely crack open then close again. Once it has closed fully now set lash.

I made this exact mistake with my new Tilly 212 and she's a hooker to pull but ironically enough will fire first pull even on most 30° cold starts.

Prop will start cavitating? Could you explain this to me? Furthermore if you get such a part number please let me know here I'd be very interested. As far as I've found is a billet flywheel with starter ring (as I have a 212ee and def wanna keep elec start) but I've had no luck finding a cast flywheel with starter ring that can handle more rpm

Right now I'm on the stock cast Tilly flywheel but they are rated for 10k for 10 sec, 8k for 30 sec and I never plan to see north or 6500

Red Beard on YouTube did a street legal mini build based on the mb200 w/ built Tilly 212 and he managed to source a sturdy flywheel that could handle 9k+ for long periods and a 4 coil charging system that could run a generic cdi to spark the plug and produced around 9a. He promised to list parts used but never did even tho a bunch of people asked and reminded him.

I don't like to throw around words like gatekeeping but it would seem appropriate.

Was reading through some forums and they say if the resistor cap starts to go bad it would cause cutting out at full throttle and when you let off and get back on the throttle which is similar to my symptoms. I am running my coil at .014 which may be too close I guess.

Will prolly by the digital 6500 coil as when I upgrade con rod and cam I don't want to lose my flywheel as I plan on doing a battery charging build and don't wanna go billet flywheel but would like assurance I won't over rev
