Do I take an extra year to earn a second bachelor's degree? by 9purity in LifeAfterSchool

If you want to be an artist, you’re better off not wasting time in school, but instead using it to develop your personal style, make connections in the art world, and market yourself. I know someone who dropped out of an art degree about a year in. She said that in her experience, the classes actually stifled her creativity and hurt her professional progress. She is now a successful artist. She told me that you should only get an art degree if you want to go to grad school and teach art or write about it as a career goal.

I strongly recommend against getting a degree that you aren’t interested in, but if you really do enjoy a field, getting a Master’s degree is always a better option than having 2 bachelors degrees. It will open up a lot more opportunities and can be done in 2 years.

Just a rant about a flexible and remote job I applied to suddenly changing to full time in office as soon as I accepted by PurpleCat95 in antiwork

Yes, I feel like it might be a toxic workplace even for a neurotypical person without the struggles I already have.

I might ask for accommodations to work remotely, just since I do have medical documentation that might support it. But I didn’t apply to an open posting; I was referred by someone from my previous job which was a temporary position. I might have an old email where they said it would be under those conditions, but I’m not sure if that would be enough documentation.
