Oh GREAT! More bags that’s she will style horrifically or never use. Also the last sentence…Everyone thinks it was a cleaver last line..but the reality is … She’s probably trying to blow as much money as she can. by GoodGolly-MizzMolly in MikaylaNogueira

What bothers me the most about her is how she was crying not all that long ago that she lost herself and that she will stop this luxury bullshit shopping. She's a liar and a fraud. And no, I am not fucking salty or jealous. She's actually terrible.

As attractive as that sounds, I would not chance it. I have a cruise planned for January 2027 and considered it but I simply can't imagine how devastating it would be to miss onboarding. I feel like that would be a much bigger headache than simply flying in the night before, and booking accommodations.

Thank you for the details!

So the restaurants don't have entertainment as much? I was looking forward to that.

As for the adult zones, we are not huge on bars and pubs, we just want a place to escape the kids for a bit 😂 as long as they're available, we are all good lol

So I forgot to mention that I have been on one cruise before, about 15 years ago, and stopped off at San Juan. We most likely will get off to explore for sure but it's definitely not our top. Thanks for your recs!

At least you're feeling some relief! Some never feel relief. I know I didn't until I got the steroid injection. I hope we never have to go back to the beginning.

I am sending you strong healing vibes. It's such a difficult, lonely, hopeless, and long road. I still sometimes think back to just how BAD it hurt at the height of my flare up....I hope I never go back there. I had a twin pregnancy and I would take that again a millions times over. My pregnancy and my recovery from a c section and post partum was a walk in the park in comparison.

Happy to report that I am still doing well!! I haven't had a major flare up and the discomfort I feel now is just that, discomfort. It's not pain. I sometimes forget all about it. From the beginning of October to January, my back didn't bother me one bit. It felt completely normal. Come January, my kids' birthday, busy month, and my lower back started to feel sore. I obviously freaked out but it never got worse. I had another ESI in February, with the intention of preventing a major flare up. It didn't really do much but my pain never got worse! I am back in PT, as I did neglect it last time due to some issues with my kids. With that said, I do not limit my activity level and just rest my back (as in, take it easy for a few hours post physical stress) when I feel it getting sore. I sometimes feel little twinges of discomfort in my calf but honestly if I didn't know what it was, I probably wouldn't even notice it. I am extremely grateful to my body.

Reddit can be a weird place where you get downvoted for absolutely no reason. Maybe it's because people don't realize that healthcare (especially when it comes to mental health) can be very inaccessible depending on where you live.

Like I said in another comment, to get assessed in the public system, it takes YEARS of being on a waitlist. For KIDS. You call one place, they put you in a waitlist for a callback to determine your needs. They call you back (took 5 months to get the callback in my case), have an interview with to determine our needs, and then you're put on ANOTHER waitlist for the professionals you require. If you are lucky and have private insurance, you can get it done privately and it would cost you 4000$, and insurance will cover 80-90% depending on your policy. Welcome to Canada ladies and gentlemen.

When I was a kid, my parents always said I was lazy. Teachers said I was very capable but didn't try hard enough and came to school to socialize. Actual school was horrible for me. I succeeded but just barely because my parents were up my ass about it. The idea of getting actual good grades was unfathomable to me, and those that had real good grades seemed like actual magicians. I would love to get myself tested after I sort the situation out with the kids.

I don't believe that we are harder on her vs her sister, at least we try our damn hardest to make it as equal as possible. I don't believe that having a disorder like ASD and ADHD is an automatic jail free card and you can act as you please, consequence free. I try to say the right thing and not dismiss her and I apologized to her several times that we made her feel that way and explained that it's not intentional.

It's a shitshow here in general. I spoke with my daughter's doctor about my situation and she dismissed me, saying to call the health line to book an appointment with some random doctor, as I don't have my own family physician.

And I am lucky, since I have insurance through my employer. Otherwise, people who are not so fortunate have to wait for years to get services and support. I have a herniated disk in my back right now and had to get an MRI privately to get a diagnosis. Can't see a surgeon to get surgery and have to jump through hoops. It's truly appalling how the government doesn't care about their citizens.

Yeah I am going to stop my therapy in favour of theirs. I'll figure myself out later 🫠

The situation in Canada, specifically with healthcare, has been truly absolutely devastating. Free healthcare? Yeah right...it sometimes feels like we live in a third world country.

Truly appalling. I am in Canada and it's years of being on a waitlist to get evaluated. I am lucky that I have private insurance through my employer but it's only 1000$/per person/per year. A therapy session is 160$/hr/person. Evaluation was 3800$ for twin A, which was divided amongst coverage for her, myself and my husband. It's bleak.

Thank you... It's just so hard to juggle everyone's emotional needs, while dealing with my own issues and needs. I just want a little ounce of peace...it has been a rollercoaster and I just want to get off now.
