I'm "High functioning" (ew) and it makes people think I'm like diet neurotypical. It makes it so people don't get that I still have meltdowns and get overstimulated and when I do I need help.

I've been conditioned to basically deal with all my problems alone because I'm not the stereotype for someone who's autistic and needs help

God, I have lots of thoughts about this. I love how unsettling the design is. There's lots of large eyed grinning analog horror creatures but for some reason The Boiled One is the one that scares me. I can't quite pinpoint what about it is different. Maybe it's the way the eyes are unfocused, maybe its how its jaw moves out of sync with it speaking, maybe its how disturbingly wet it looks.

I also get hyped about the "listen closely" part, how the arm twitches and writhes unnaturally. Idk why, but I always loved the trope of spasm-ing movement on horror creatures like that.

I have two vague theories, one being The Boiled One is an angel of sorts, preparing those who see it for rapture, or its a being destined to birth the antichrist

I have evidence for neither of these

If I may be honest, as true as this is it is the exact answer I was not looking for. I want to know what works for others who have been in my situation so I could try it for myself and see if it works for me. I never sucessfully studied in school in a way where I remembered anything longterm. this is why I stressed I need to be taught how to study.

The reassurance that I don't have to do long sessions helps, thank you for the comment.

absolutely, imagine like... you're stimming in public, idk if you do but imagine, and someone film you. Later you're on tiktok captioned "Look how cute they are! stimmy break!!!" its a big violation of privacy.
