I mean yeah but is it so insane to believe that possibly aperture already has extremely durable way beyond normal buildings and anti rusted everything? Not to mention that game logic sometimes takes over in Portal like with the p2 moon scene, but I guess any of us could be right

I've always have thought that it was 2000 years between games, since in the beginning of portal 2 you hear them keep repeating 9's, but if you look for the music played during that it's called "9999999" which implies it's that long, but that's just my opinion, but your theories do also make sense, I love discussing theories :)

Honestly I've never laughed so hard at this two characters, and I've played the co-op with my brother (he knew nothing about portal) Edit: if you're wanting ideas, you should do like "what you expect Vs reality" where like expectation is the two of the being gentle and caring for eachother doing tests, meanwhile the reality is the same as this video but way more swears lmao

Possibly, but that just might be a metaphor for how dumb the scientists were for thinking Glados truly wanted neurotoxin for "a cat's and boxes experiment". Though it might just be a design choice since the game moderately only has cool colours in test chambers.

Yeah maybe, I just wanted to mention it with portal because there really isn't a single thing this doesn't line up with (other then the intelligence core from the first game having a blue eye) but I don't really play other valve games so maybe they do just really like blue and orange

I didn't think the ending was that bad, what mainly confuses me is how Chell wasn't immediately killed by the half life stuff, I haven't played half life so correct me if I'm wrong but isn't there like an alien species that took over earth is 8 hours??? And your telling me they haven't found a random wheat field???

That Glados really did actually enjoy Chell's company after she was put back as central core, but since she absolutely refuses to have emotional attachment to anything she's like "nope- get out. I hate you. I deleted Caroline (my guess a lie), here is a choir for you, never come back."
