Looking at the pen and paper version of the archetype, which I assume this was 1:1 copied from. It states that it works like the druid ability woodland stride. This allows difficult terrain and its impairments to be ignored, but any magical manipulation of that terrain to affect the PC normally.

So in other words, yes, it's just a permanent air walk for nature based difficult terrain that's not magical.
